Emily took photos for our engagement and then did the photos for my wedding this last weekend. I am STILL obsessed with our engagement pictures, and I just know our wedding photos will impress- she already showed us a few at the wedding and I can’t believe how well they turned out despite the extreme heat. She arrived on time-actually early, ready to explore our venue and found the best spots, taking charge so I could relax. She considered lighting and made all of the photos we requested work. She helped with awkward family needs, somehow corralled a bunch of kids into taking a decent photo, and gave us some laughs along the way. You have to trust her as she does her thing... you may feel weird at first but her vision is never wrong. I trust her and her magic box with every picture I will ever need taken. Thank you for everything! I can’t wait to see our pictures!!!

Engagement sessions are important because I truly believe that they are a VITAL part of the entire experience. During your engagement session, you’ll have the chance to get to know me, experience how I shoot and how I handle posing and lighting. This session will make a HUGE impact on how the wedding day flows. What I will learn about you two during the engagement session is invaluable! You will feel like such a pro on your big day because of the great practice you had during your engagement session.
