Katie & Brandon | Warehouse on State Wedding | Peoria, IL

I first met Katie & Brandon on their wedding day & immediately it was like we were all old life long friends. Starting our day off with the guys getting ready we didn’t skip a beat after introductions & got right into shooting the joy of the day. Brandon’s group of guys were a blast to hang with & the love & support filled the room as they helped him prep for his big day. As we headed to the girls getting ready site it was evident that this day was going to be a good one & I couldn’t wait to meet the bride to be. She greeted me with a big hug in the front yard of her childhood home so excited to get the photography portion of her wedding day rolling! Another one of those moments that makes my job such a joy. Katie’s bridesmaids were also right on board with making her feel special & loved! This is so important to have on your wedding day & I couldn’t have been more thrilled knowing I was going to be spending an entire day celebrating with these particular people!

Somehow with all the pure genuine happiness floating around you forgot how incredibly & unseasonably warm it was for September. You couldn’t help but focus on the smiles, laughter, & memories that were being made.
