Jackie & Anthony | Civic Center Wedding | Peoria, IL

Anthony & Jackie’s wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale, which came to no surprise since he proposed in Disney World. We stared our day with the groom as he got ready to become a husband, & noticed a resemblance between him & prince charming as he adjusted the finishing touches of his tux. As we walked into the bridal getting ready suite, Jackie’s wedding gown was hanging in the window, & again immediately realized her dress was only one a princess would wear. Once she was sparkling from head to toe, & her straight out of a fairytale book blue heels were slipped on I couldn’t wait to get the two together for portraits.

Before Jackie walked down the aisle to her handsome groom, the couple shared a quite, but joy filled tearful moment around a corner of the church. The videographer & I closed closed the doors to the room we were in for privacy, & I am so glad that we did. The soon to be Mr. & Mrs. had one of the most peaceful & loving moments I have had the honor of capturing. It was just silence, & love that filled the room. I believe this moment made the one when Anthony saw his princess walking toward him for the first time to become his wife so much more special, & tear of joy were shed once again!

After the sweet church ceremony it was time to celebrate! I was having a party of my own because Anthony & Jackie make the perfect pair in so many ways, & I literally had to force myself to stop capturing the nose nuzzles, (which they are SO good at) twirls, & sweet kisses shared so we could get to the reception on time! Luckily it was with in walking distance! These two are the kind of couple that make me smile from ear to ear, & talk my husband’s ears off from over sharing about the wedding I was so blessed to be apart of. It makes the aches, pains, & exhaustion on Sundays worth it in every way!
